I am a researcher working at the intersection of computer science and biology. I develop new methods to better analyse complex biological datasets, namely single-cell and spatial transcriptomics.

Following my PhD in computer science (where I created a theoretical foundation for automated algorithm configuration), I was motivated to design algorithms with important real-world applications. I thus joined the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health to create new computational approaches alongside clinicians from the world-renowned children’s hospital. A summary of my postdoctoral research can be found here.
